Biking tour of Bangkok – Puppet Show by car/biking and walking |
|
Pick up from Bangkok or Airport and transfer to Hotel for check-in.
Experience a 4 hours biking tour at Ban Kra Jao, is small green area in close proximity to Bangkok. It’s unique style of waterways and small roads – only wide enough for bikes and motorbikes make this a great place to ride. With the Bangkok skyline in the background gives the only indication you are still in this teeming metropolis. As we pass temples, local markets and Thai houses we can see up close the communities that live and work here – you will be amazed and did not think possible that Bangkok could be like this.
We ride through the local communities passing villages, schools, temples and a delightful floating market. Visiting an incense workshop, we will have refreshments and see how this local cottage industry operates. We also stop to see a fascinating temple, built in the Ayutthaya period, which is more than 250 years old and has a unique roof made of teak wood.
Pick up from your hotel to the start point where we will cross the Chao Phraya river and reach Bang Ka Jao. We ride about 20 kilometers in total along very minor roads, pathways, through alleys, temples, gardens and tropical jungle. There are no hills. Some of the canal paths are elevated and narrow and we advise caution on these sections but otherwise it is a nice easy ride.
By late afternoon back to your hotel to relax
Enjoy your dinner and the wonderful Thai traditional puppet show at Joe Louise Theatre, at Suam Lum Night Plaza.
