| Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok |
Arrive at Bangkok Airport. After customs and immigration formalities you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel accommodation. Transfer to Ruen Nuad House for a jet lag massage to reduce the tension of the long flight. There are various options available (Price not included) for those who wish to experience the treatments of the spa house using Thai herbs as their special blends. The rest of your day is at leisure.

| Day 2: Meditation and Massage in Bangkok |
After breakfast in the hotel, transfer to Wat Mahathat for a meditation session (approximately 09.00 – 11.00). The session normally starts with an introduction, then meditation practice followed by a group discussion.
Afterwards transfer for a ferry across the river to Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn for sightseeing. Its 79m spire silhouette has become well-identified with Bangkok. Its towers are adorned with magnificent multicolored porcelain shards from a Chinese junk which sank in the river. Next, visit Wat Pho the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok. View the enormous 46m Reclining Buddha! This is also Thailand’s most respected center for the art of Thai Massage. Enjoy 1 hour of traditional Thai massage. Afterwards enjoy the rest of your day relaxing or exploring the city on your own.

| Day 3: Bangkok - Kanchanaburi |
Morning departure for Kanchanaburi to visit the Allied War Cemetery, the JEATH War Museum and the infamous Bridge over the River Kwai. Take a train journey on the Death Railway over the bridge and a spectacular wooden viaduct built by the POWs. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant by the river at Pak Seng, then take a boat for a trip up the Kwai Noi River to Jungle Rafts. Visit a local minority Mon village. Take a relaxing Elephant Ride through the bamboo forest and a Canoe Trip. After dinner watch Mon Dancers perform their ancient dances.

| Day 4: Kanchanaburi |
After breakfast relax with a Thai style solar bath. Take a walking tour to visit an herbal and horticultural garden. While in the garden, pick fresh herbs and vegetables for your Thai cooking course and an herbal steam bath! Lunch is at the resort, followed by Royal Thai Traditional Massage & Herbal Pad & Steam Bath. Dinner and overnight.

| Day 5: Kanchanaburi - Bangkok |
Enjoy your morning at leisure, with various options such as swimming, bird watching, mountain biking, or if that’s too strenuous, experience a relaxing foot massage or herbal steam bath. After lunch, take a boat ride to the pier and continue by van to Bangkok. The rest of your day is on your own.

| Day 6: Bangkok - Chiang Mai |
Spend the day at leisure until time to transfer for the night train to Chiang Mai. Overnight in the train’s sleeper car.

| Day 7: Chiang Mai |
Arrive in Chiang Mai in the morning, and transfer to your hotel accommodation. Take a tour around Chiang Mai town to get your bearings. Visit the city’s famous and historic monasteries with their distinctive northern style, all dating back to the 14th and 15th centuries. Also see Wat U-Mong, a distinctive delightful meditation temple. Spend the rest of the day exploring the hidden delights of this fascinating city.

| Day 8: Chiang Mai |
In the early morning, transfer to the center of Hathayoga for yoga exercises to relax and balance the body, reducing tension and calming the spirit. Instruction is available for all levels of ability and knowledge, including beginners. Afternoon transfer to Ban Sabai Chiang Mai Village, a spa for health and well-known for its Aroma Oil Massage – a deep relaxing way of massaging aroma oils onto the body to give a final revitalization of the body & mind. Return to the hotel for overnight.
